Hello there great people! Today is Saturday and it feels great! I did think too much to the point where I could have had a meltdown BUT I kept myself sane and I'm proud of myself ≧◔◡◔≦. I had In-N-Out, realized I am an awesome person (again), and fixed my room a bit more! I feel pretty great even though tonight is Homecoming night and I didn't go, but who wants to dirty dance and get all sweaty (not me). Some people may say I didn't go and am bitter because nobody asked me, though that may be one reason, I have 5 million other reasons I can name so, shut your damn mouth. Some people are too soaked into the idea of an "ideal" girl ugh. (did that even make any sense? i dont even know jeez)

Here is my outfit of the day! Didn't go anywhere except to In-N-Out and Walmart, but who cares, I looked cute and I looked cute for me (✿◠‿◠).(I feel very girl-powery if ya can't tell.)

I got this cool ass necklace from Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban from my sister as a beefday present. I was so happy. Aw, I miss my sister so much. I have gotten used to her not being here, but it still sucks. I am just happy she is finally reaching her happy point at UCLA and that's all that matters. As long as she's happy, I am ecstatic. I also never realized how much Harry Potter stuff I have. I have a lot of replicas like this necklace, Luna Lovegood's spectrespecs and her radish earrings! Pretty awesome, but I still need more.

I also never realized how much One Direction crap I have!!!! It's pretty hilarious and I am pretty proud of it, they led me to meet my best friends so it's cool! I put something new to my wall, it's still coming together..very slowly. Just a few print outs, old postcards, polaroids of some of the best people, and of course my One Direction "trading cards" I got with the album!! Thought it came out preeeeetty cute!

I alsooooooo put up some pictures on one of my walls!!! I am trying to make my room MY room and it's pretty difficult because the name "NATALY" (my sister) comes out eeeeeveeeeerywheeeeeeeere. Not that it's bad, but y'know. OH and I bought a dollar lantern of a 'ghost', supposedly, at the dollar tree and it's pretty cute (and cheap lol).

Just wanted to express my One Direction collection more. There is their first official book and second official book I bought, haven't really read through both of them, BUT I did look at all the pictures, ahhahahah. AND I GOT A ONE DIRECTION CALENDAR FOR NEXT YEAR FINALLY YAY!!!

THE FLOWER POWER BITCHES QUESTION TIME

Question: What song describes your life or personality the most and why?

I thought this would be an interesting question to ask. There are many songs I relate to, but there is this one I just, it just screams out "MEEEE". It is called "Are You Satisfied?" by Marina and the Diamonds. I did talk about her in a post if ya wanna check it out. When she first started as an artist, Marina had producers and song writers begging to make her into a pop star and try to get her very popular in the today's media, but she refused. She hated everything about it and just wanted to do her thaaaang. SO, she went off on her own and made her first album, "The Family Jewels" and basically just made it her own and complaining about these money-eating producers. Now, the song is calling out all those producers calling them selfish and basically just telling them to "get bent". I love this song so much due to the fact it screams out "f you assholes who try to make me something I am not not, f off" and it's awesome. 

ARPENIS: We Can't Stop (cover) - Bastille. I chose this version because although I like Miley's.. I like how this one flows and I think it's so funny how they included Billy Ray in it. aaaaaaand in my opinion, I just much rather enjoyed Bastille's cover BUT the song itself is so great and people can hate on it all they want but it's still on replay on most playlists. this song really shows the zone that people my age (15-18) are in when we're out enjoying ourselves, even if it's not partying (because that's not my vibe) but when you're out and you have that whole "We're young; Nobody can stop us" mood where you just live in THAT moment. I like how the song expresses that no matter what anyone says, we're still gonna enjoy ourselves and that its our lives and we can say/do/be whoever we want to be and we wouldn't ever change for anyone. AND I'M ALWAYS GONNA BE MYSELF //////

MIA: Bootylicious - Destiny's Child. Bootylicious (is the song I chose) because im too hot for anyone, hence why im still single. Im just kidding, I honestly don't know what song to choose. Well I guess you could say I have a nice butt... I listen to a variety of music, how can I choose just one? I think picking a song that truly describes you depends on your emotions, and my emotions are all over the place. On the other hand, this captures my personality because I joke around about everything and anything I have the opportunity to.

JULISSA: Forever Halloween - The Maine. This song doesn't really describe my personality, but it's about how on Halloween, you can be whatever you want and how basically life is similar to Halloween because you can be whatever you want.

One Direction's new single "Story of My Life" is on it and I really recommend giving it a listen because it is SOOO great! Hello friends! I haven't done a complete outfit on a blogpost, and in real life, in a while it seems!!!! I feel like this sickness has just DRAAAAAINED me. I feel okay now, just a little stuffy nose and I am all good. I just haven't felt like I have put my own mind into a post in a while due to The Flower Power Bitches and being sick and homework and the 2nd graders and all. Man, I have never realized that I am a pretty busy person now and I mean I have a lot of my own time, but I don't know..it doesn't feel like it! Hhahaha anyways, I gotta type this up quickly because it's 10:08 PM and I really should be sleeping, but I just needed to do this, ahahhaha.

Today, I realized how many cords I could get at graduation. I COULD FOR SURE GET 7. S E V E N. Now, when I first entered high school, my first goal I thought of was to get as many cords as I can. I always thought I would only get 2 or something and that disappointed me, but NOPE. I can possibly get 8, but I am not completely sure, but I am SOOO excited. I actually am going to reach one of my goals and it feels freaking awesome knowing I achieved (or will achieve, I'll be getting them next year, senior year) my goal from freshman year and it's cool! I know it sucks making goals and reaching them is hard, but at the end it's a great feeling knowing what you put in, will give you a great output. Hopefully, I will go into a UC right after high school and won't be in debt (hahahahahha).

I realized I hate circle skirts, but the horrible thing is..THEY LOOK CUTE WITH EVERYTHING WTFFFF. It makes me mad so I keep wearing them (╥﹏╥) ~*~*~*~awkward stance ftw~*~*~*

Here's a close up of my yarn braid!!! (Talked about it in this post) Isn't it cool!?!??! I took it out today though, but I think I may put it back tomorrow..I DON'T KNOW. Man, I feel like I have a lot to say, but I can't think of anything, ahahhaha! OH. Today I had a wonderful conversation with my mom. Her and I aren't as close as her and my sister are and sometimes, honestly, it upsets me. The only reason we're not as close is because my spanish speaking is very clear and I hate practicing due to me not knowing everything and stuttering a lot, where as my sister is fluent. I would like to be more close, but it's tough, y'know? I AM TRYING THO. Well, I have realized where my charm and 'funny-ness' ;))) comes from before, but I like to be reminded because my mom is awesome. She's funny on accident and I love her so much. She is the dorkiest, coolest, most "hip" (bold on the quotation marks) mom ever and I just love her. She's winning.

Hello there, healthy people!!!! I am currently dying due to first, having a terrible sore throat on Thursday ,then slowly moving into a cold on Saturday. I have been sick for 5 days, counting today. HOW TERRIBLE IS THAT?! I have never been this sick and it's terrible. I left school early today and might not go tomorrow, considering the state I am in right now ~_~ Honestly, I hate missing school because then there is a chance of me missing something big or something important and falling behind. Ugh, I hate this. -_- ANYWAYS, enough about thaaaaat, let's move on.

ABOVE: I loooove candles. My mother and I bought two about two weeks ago..? And we already used them all up. I love smelling them!!!! Annnnd, I am throwing a Christmas/One Direction party in December and I want to use jars as cups so, I shall be keeping these candles jars for that!!!

ABOVE: HALLOWEENY MONTH, YAAAY. Halloween is pretty rad, c'mon. I am not going trick-or-treating this year because man, I am 16 years old, I am too old ;) but I hope my brother goes, because I still want candy..Anyways, Harry Doll looked pretty creepy and I thought it was funny. ABOVE: GOT ONE DIRECTION TATTOOS. Yeaaaaaah, I paid $1. Cool, right?! OH OH OH ANNNNND I do not know if I have mentioned juju babes? Or jelly sandals/shoes? Well, I was supposed to get them once school started (which was like 3 months ago) and I HAVE FINALLY ORDERED THEM. They shall be coming soon and I might cry once they arrive. I guess babysitting does pay off ;)

Question: What is your favorite lesson or confident booster or advice anyone has given you or learned yourself and why?

Personally, and with these members, it was hard to choose. Life should be able to hand you lessons/confident boosters/advice throughout your life. I have learned so much and have shared that with this blog. For me, mine would be "shut up, who cares, it's all about you". Short, sweet, and self-explanatory. This may seem too "conceited", but who cares? Society has driven the answer "no it's not about you, think about what others think" into today's teenagers' heads and it's not cool. Stop trying to impress others.

HESSICA: My cousin once told me that "why do we kill people that kill people for justice?" That is why I am against aggression because in reality, we make it a lot worse by responding to it.

CYNTHIA: It would have to be that I don't have to satisfy all of my friends to be happy. I was always worried about keeping my friends happy and keeping them content rather than keeping myself happy and content. And I was always worried about keeping them in my life. I've learned that I don't need so many friends and the friends that I do have I don't need to go out of my way to impress them, the way I used to. And also I don't have to live up to their expectation of me, if they were true friends, they wouldn't care about how I change or don't change. I may have lost a lot of people in my life but I'm much more happier and more free than I've ever been. 

BRIANNA: I've had to learn a lot of things by myself. I didn't really have someone to tell me or help me go through things. And basically what lesson/saying that helped me get through things is "Don't rely on others for your own happiness". I had to go through a lot of disappointments in my life. With my father being out of my life for a while and even when he was there, it still felt like he wasn't. So I really want you (the reader) to only depend on yourself to get through things. Only you can make yourself happy. I mean who knows yourself better then YOU?

What does it mean to you? I think it doesn't really mean anything to me because women have been protesting about their equality, but they should be working on their own lives and work.

SOOO MUCH NEW INFORMATION. I hope you all enjoy this new segment on my blog. I shall be asking them questions each week or each post! Hopefully you all will get to know what kinds of minds these wonderful ladies have and maybe can pick out "oh she said this" or "yeah she would say that". That would be pretty cool. The reason I asked these questions first was because, well feminism really interests me and I wanted to know what they thought about it because I haven't really got the chance to talk about it with them! I thought it would be a great start of this group and it was. All of these girls have different personalities and it's insane. Having them all together was quite hectic, but so much fun. This will not be a feminism group or questionnaire, I will be asking them different questions so, don't worry about it only being about feminism!

Hello there beautiful people! I have two outfit posts that I have not uploaded and I am very upset about that. I haven't had the time to blog because stressful AP classes :-( BUT here I am, blogging, where as, I should be studying, hm. This outfit is from today, but I do have another from Tuesday, but I decided to upload this one first because if you do not know the occasion of October 3 -- it was when AMERICAN HORROR STORY'S NEW SEASON CAME OUT. It was SUCH an exciting night, AHS is such a genius show I love it. Great thing about it is that you don't need to watch the previous seasons to get caught up. Every season has a different story line, but with the same actors, it's pretty smart. Not only did AHS come out this week, but Supernatural came out on Tuesday!!!!!! If any of you remember I did talk about the show on a previous post  and it's crazy how season 9 has already come out! AHHHHH! SO many new seasons. INCLUDING THE WALKING DEAD THIS SUNDAY. Woah. This week has been awesome. Kind of. I have a lot of stress in class, too. Pretty busy week. ANYWAYS, let's move on. 

This outfit is kind of inspired by the first episode of the new season of AHS. There was a scene where they wore all black and looked. Bad. Ass. So jealous of how bad ass they looked (I really wish I was known as a bad ass person :( ). So, I took it upon myself to dress in a lot of black with a cute Christmas/grandpa sweater.

OOOOOO. This weekend (or last weekend) I went to The Grove for the second time in my whole life, even though I have lived in SoCal my entire life, and we went inside Topshop. That place is like a beautiful hell. I wanted EVERYTHING, but the trick is..everything is literally SOOOOOOOOO ridiculously expensive. I felt like crying, I had to leave. Although, we did go inside the most crappiest, smallest Forever21 store I have ever seen and I bought a pair of cute mid-rings. Very cute. Thought they looked fantastic with my outfit.

(UCLA soxxx woohooo, supporting my sister lolll) I babysat today. This little girl is a ball of weird sunshine. She loves to scream at Dora and stare, drooling, at Lalaloopsy. I figured out that it is much more difficult taking care of one kid than 15 kids. I hang out with a class of 2nd graders three days a week and take care of this little munchkin 2 times a week. It's quite a shift because she's younger and only watches television and my 2nd graders are full blasts of sunshine that love to pretend to get hurt to get attention. They both require lots of attention, but somehow they're both very different. I love them both oh so dearly. Sometimes I loooooooove taking care of kids, but other times..well..y'know how it is. Maybe all of this hanging out with children can lead to my official career? But elementary school teachers don't earn much money, but I DON'T KNOW. Thinking about my future gives me a headache ~_~

Well, hello there beautiful people! Hope you all have a good week, I have had a pretty busy/tiring week. I started volunteering at an elementary school for community service and I have to hang out with second/first graders and kindergarteners for 3 hours, 3 days a week. It's pretty fun, I really like doing it so far, but it's very tiring. Today was the busiest day and man do these kids get wild for free play. It's fun to be around them because they're so carefree and don't have a single worry in their little bones. All they want is snack time and free play. It's quite a simple and very important part in one's life because I mean, it's where you learn everything you need to set yourself in life! And here comes my morbid thoughts: it is quite upsetting, too because the world then comes crashing into their lives over the years and burns that carefree personality y'know? I know, I'm crazy, but it's true, isn't? 

WELL, let's move on. Last Saturday, I was able to experience Vampire Weekend in concert. They were so amazing and cute, makes me smile every time I think about it!!!!!! I love them oh so much and could possibly choose them as my favorite band of ALL TIME & that's pretty tough to get in my standards. If you do not listen to 'V-Dub', as I like to call them, then you're at a lost, really. 

I also wore my over-alls to the concert and to school and pimped it out with my buttons. Thought it looked pretty wicked.

I am still working on the wall, it's coming together, slowly, but surely!!!!!

Now, I am in a club called "Vintage Culture Club" and we basically learn about all things vintage! It's pretty rad and I shall get into this club a little more in detail later because I am planning on getting a little insight on the club next weekend, so I shall post that then! BUT this is what we did on our last meeting! We made cute little homemade buttons and this one is mine! I'm pretty proud on how it came out. Usually things like these come out like crap to me, ahahahaha. If you do not know who these people are then shame on you, but they're from an 80s movie called "Pretty in Pink". UGHHHH, SUCH A GOOD MOVIE. (go watch it) (oh and here's the club's blog, if by any chance you want something to read)

The president of Vintage Culture club is a wicked person and she made me this mixed CD!!!!!! She's one of the coolest people I know and this is the most cutest CD I have everrrrrr received!!!! If ya wanna check her ouuuut, she just made a blog recently!

Lesson/thought of the week: Typing this will make me more depressed and make me over-think, but I need to let it all out. UGHHHH. My mind is so annoying. I over-think waaaaaay too much to the point where I sound crazy. I have had people give me crazy looks because of me telling them my thoughts and it's not a good feeling. I know, I really don't care what they personally think, but just the fact that I have had more than 2 people look at me crazy for my thoughts makes me quite insecure about 'em. Thing is, they aren't like murderous, scary thoughts, they're more like "...you totally over-thought that and need to shut up" type of thing y'know? Okay, like I sometimes over-exaggerate things or think over the norm. I don't know how to explain it, but I have realized I have become insecure over them and it's so irritating. Do I need to stop sharing them? Should I just stop letting people enter my thoughts? I don't like this feeling, but I don't know how to make it better. Suggestions would be verrrrrry helpful. (Please don't think I'm crazy, oh please please please.)
